I am loving everything Windsor Smith right now – except for the prices. Their shoes are innovative, good quality, and bang on trend. Lipstik is the same – the prices are considerably lower, but they still offer really awesome buys. My secret – never buy in store. EVER. EVER. Head down to these factory outlets, and you will find their shoes (new releases, samples, and older styles) that beat their in store prices. A pair of Cool’s in store are $129 – last week they were at the factory for only $101, and I even saw a pair of size 6 and 9 with a little discolouration on the bottom for $40. They have walls of shoes, and every trip is a treasure hunt.

HINT: Before heading to your allocated size section, sift through the front middle rack – here lie the samples and factory seconds. Usually only size 6s and 9s, although you may find other sizes if you have a keen eye. Make sure you check for any faults though, there are no refunds on the seconds.

You really can’t go wrong with a pair of Lee’s or Wrangler’s. With an extensive range of cuts and colours, there really is a pair for everyone. At the factory outlet, they tend to have older styles, but how can a pair of black skinnies date? They have a wide selection of men’s and women’s jeans, tees and jumpers, all at pretty good prices. It is always best to head over at the end of the season when they receive unsold stock from their stores. I love trawling the racks for jeans with the right colour and chopping them to make custom denim cut-offs.

We all know Tony Bianco shoes are a little overpriced. The designs are great, the colour and quality just as good, but it is always the price that puts me off. Just a block away from the Windsor Smith Factory Outlet lies Tony Bianco’s equally impressive outlet store. Stocking both their bags and shoes, their selection of shoes in each size bracket is impressive. An added bonus – they sometimes have 20 – 30% off storewide, meaning savings off the already discounted price.

HINT: Sign up to their Tony Bianco loyalty card. Its free with your purchase, and each spend gives you dollars off your next, which you can accumulate over time.

So, next time you’re thinking of heading to your favourite stores, check out whether they have an outlet, because you must just save yourself some cash!
